A creative project for driftwood lovers and those comfortable with basic power tools
Make a Driftwood anchor wall hanging by adhering natural driftwood pieces to a wooden anchor cutout. These anchors can be kept neutral for a rustic coastal look or decorated with shells, rope, or painted blue for a stunning beachy effect. A driftwood anchor makes for a beautiful handmade accent for coastal cottages, beach houses, and nautical-inspired spaces.
You draw the anchor on a piece of plywood and cut it out with a band or jiigsaw, then glue on driftwood. In fact, you can draw anything on a piece of plywood (Whale for example), cut it out and cover it with driftwood or shells. The possibilities are endless. The project was inspired by Pottery Barn's Driftwood Star.
