When Ashely of The Homemade Home opened this page of Pottery Barn's Outdoor Living, she felt instantly inspired by the Driftwood Star. And I am too!

So to work she went collecting small flat pieces of driftwood. Then all she needed to make the driftwood star was a super skinny MDF board.

It was a lot like putting a puzzle together, but it only took around an hour, Ashley says. The driftwood star measures 2 ft x 2 ft. Gorgeous! For all the details, read Handmade Driftwood Star.

Love it!
I was in a PB outlet store this weekend and was stunned by the HIGH prices. So...I pulled out my notepad and made sketches of the things I liked. I'm sure someone in blogland will have recreated many of these ideas...Love all these blogger friends!!!
