It's a New Year, and it seems to organize the home is on many people's list. Here's an idea how to style and organize a bookcase -covering books à la Charles Faudree! I've never seen anything quite like it. It's a project Charles Faudree did for a Jamaican Villa. Very elaborate. All the Books are covered with coral wallpaper to achieve a unified look. Sure enough, I found a tutorial on covering books with coral paper, not Wallpaper though.
Kathy of All About Vignettes simply used white craft paper, then added Coral images to the spine, which she cut in quarters. You could also use copies of the same image. Depends on the look you want.
Kathy used Mod Podge to glue the images on and gave them a top coat to protect and seal them (= Decoupage). For the step by step tutorial, visit her at All About Vignettes.
So, is to organize your home on your to do list this month?

Then these Coral Bound Books are intriguing, available at Outer Banks Trading Group; tomes that have been transformed into beautiful decorative objects.

So pretty! I want to try this. Going to check out Kathy's tutorial! Thanks for sharing!
Such a cool look! I've been thinking about covering mine in sheet music... love how covering them unifies the shelves.
Thanks, Maya!

Love this look! It makes me wish all of my books weren't packed away. I haven't the room for a bookshelf, but if I ever do this is a cool way to bring everything together.

Does it count if you can still find things in an unorganized household?! Those coral papers are so so pretty. ~Lili
