Hemingway house Key West Florida
The Hemingway home is located in the center of Old Town Key West in Florida. Built in 1851 in the Spanish Colonial style, the home was in great disrepair when Hemingway (1899-1961) and his 2nd wife Pauline purchased it in 1931. Today the Ernest Hemingway Home is a museum dedicated to the great American writer, who won the Pulitzer Prize for the famous novel "The Old Man and the Sea" in 1953 and the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1954.
