Porthole Mirrors for the Bathroom

Make your bathroom feel like a ship cabin with a porthole mirror!

Porthole Mirror for Bathroom

Porthole mirrors come in different sizes and finishes/materials, such as brass, nickel, chrome, or lightweight ones in aluminum. These are not made from authentic portholes.

Prices for porthole mirrors vary, depending on make and size. You can find a great selection of Porthole Mirrors at Wayfair and on Amazon.

You can easily achieve a polished and chic look with a porthole mirror. It hints to life at high seas and the seafaring culture. A porthole mirror is perfect if you want to decorate your Bathroom in a Nautical Theme. Image via New England Home.

And since we can never have enough storage, check out the porthole medicine cabinet at Restoration Hardware. The cabinet is pricey, but it's also quite big, too big for my tiny powder room. I would have indulged in this one!

Mine is over the kitchen sink. May have to add one in the bathroom too now.

How fun! A re-purposed one with some character would be really cool...

Ah, someday in my next house.

Two antiques ones from a Liberty Ship here. They are so thick and heavy the walls can't support them. So sad they are simply immensely heavy dust collectors in the garage.

These are oh so cool! I wish I had room for one!

I do have some faux portholes that I have been wanting to work on. I'm missing one element, though. I hope to find it soon!

Rita..., yep, that's the downside of the real ones. Heavy. I admire them in antique shops but that's about it.

I love this look. They fit in great in a bath. But I can see one over a chest of drawers in a boys room too.

We *just* bought one to use in our (tiny!) powder room. Hoping to work on it over the next couple of months. I'm in the midst of finding the perfect color of the deep blue sea for the walls. :-)
