Sea Inspired Cottage Living

Kerrie from Sea Cottage is a wonderful example of sea inspired Cottage Style living miles away from the Coast, in her case the Northern Pacific.

She posted this driftwood rack that I featured here: What to Do with a Long Piece of Driftwood, as her inspiration, and I think her fabulous driftwood piece that is currently leaning in the corner would make a great coat rack!

Kerrie's Sea Cottage is delightful, with beach finds scattered all around, so I wanted to show you more. Her beach lantern of course reminded me of the Pottery Barn Knock Off post. She found the lantern at Homegoods for $20, saying, "a great deal considering the one featured in Coastal Living May issue looks exactly like it for $485, made with nickel." See for yourself here.

"The calm and peace a seaside setting gives is just what we needed. Sometimes it feels like the ocean should be just out our back door," Kerrie writes on her blog.

Most of her sea treasures are from frequent visits to the ocean.

And as much as she and her family wish they were on the beach, they are close enough to go for a night in their Vintage Camper to satisfy their sea loving souls. "We are happy here and want to stay...in a happily ever after sort of way."

Thanks Kerrie, your sea inspired cottage living is an inspiration!

Have you been inspired?

If you have been inspired by something you saw here on Completely Coastal or my other blog Daily Vitamin Sea and blogged about it, let me know, I want to feature it!

I adore Kerrie. She is one of the first bloggers that has read my blog and truly made me feel welcome in this wonderful place called bloggyland! Thank you Kerrie! Her blog is such a sweet place and serene vision to behold. Kerrie is very creative with an artful eye and a poetic soul. I love visiting her blog and seeing her soothing palette of whites, pale french greys, pale robin's egg blues and pink roses. I love reading about her love for the sea and I agree her place is a true sea cottage even though she is miles from the coast.

Maya...you are the sweetest! Thank you so much for featuring me here at Completely Coastal...I am truly honored. You have made my sea inspired world at Sea Cottage even more beautiful! I am always inspired here...but I would have to say that your posts of Tricia Rose's driftwood cottage has inspired me the most. It lead me to visit her blog and become a follower. She has such patience and a gentle spirit that I admire. I also am in awe of those pillows she sews...I am saving my pennies to purchase one! Thank you Maya for inspiring us with all things Coastal each and everyday...on both your blogs! I do need to make a driftwood rack!!!!

Maya, thank you for featuring the lovely Fair Maiden, Kerrie, from Sea Cottage. She was one of the first blogs that I followed {before I understood HOW to officially follow} and I so enjoy my visits to her beautiful and tranquil page. And now she has led me down the beach to you! I just joined as a follower on Vitamin Sea and am looking forward to more sea-inspired dreams! My biggest is to move near the water in the Pacific NW, someday... xx P&H
