Painting Glass Jars

Give yourself a feeling of living by the sea with shells, floats and, most importantly, pretty glass jars painted in luminous ocean blue.

Dreamy Whites created a sea breeze environment by sprinkling shells down the center of her table, bringing some pretty flowering branches inside, placing a few Sea Shell Candles, vintage Fishing Glass Floats, along with beautiful sea colored bottles and glass jars.

If you're like me, then you do have glass jars, but they are all white. Here's a solution to that!

painting glass jar
With a little bit of Mod Podge and food coloring you can paint your white glass jars blue! To be exact, 5 drops of blue and two drops of green for the lovely shade of aqua.

Wow I love that tablescape Maria did. And such a perfect idea for converting ordinary glass jars complete with the perfect formula for a dreamy aqua blue! Very cool idea. ~Lili
