Before + After: An Old Wood Door Transformed into Wall Art

Here's an easy way to create a fun piece of wall art that doesn't require hanging. Dress up an old door with shells and lean it on a wall!

Shell Door
This door wall art piece is my one and only craft project I did last year. What can I say, I'm more known for featuring other people's awesome crafts and DIY projects!

Old Wood Door
A bit of sanding and one light coat of white primer was all this old wood door needed that was tucked away in our basement.

Shell Wall Art
And tiny nails in the right spot to hang large sea shells and the starfish.

Wood Door Art
Flashback to 2007 when we bought our coastal home! Can you spot the old wood door? It's right next to the open door leading down to the basement. It was once a closet that we removed. And what's the deal with all the stuff on the floor? We had plumbers in the house for three weeks!

Love it! Where did you get your oars? I've seen a bunch online, but they aren't exactly what I'm looking for; however yours are perfect!

Let me know!

Thanks ;)
