Martha Stewart's Heart Rocks Collection from Beaches in Maine

So far I found only one heart beach rock, and I hope I'll find more. How about you? A beach heart rock would make a nice little gift for Valentines! So I'm loving Martha's Stewart heart rocks collection!

It is neatly arranged on shelves in her Seal Harbor home. "This is my collection of heart-shaped rocks, which I find along the beaches in Maine. What can I say? I just love it!" She says on her Blog. Simple beauty from the beach, or should I say nature's art.

And I'm in love with this beach rocks collection too! Stacked rocks by the entry, made from round rocks indigenous to this part of Maine, Martha explains. See here. Stacked rocks immediately put your mind into a zen state of reflection and tranquility.

I love heart shape rocks too. But I'm a bit more picky about it than Martha seems to be. No kidneys or triangles, thank you.

Sehr schönes Bild. Ich weiß wie schwer es ist solche Steine zu finden. Bei uns waren es bis heute nur 3 Stück. Danke fürs Posten

lovely hearts! I feel especially happy when I come upon one of these natural treasures. I've just started collecting hearts of stone, glass, pottery, etc. and its always a thrill to see one in my path.

I had never heard of her collection but I'll check it out. I find heart shaped rocks often on our beach but never thought of displaying them - great idea!

Here in Maine I always find them too! The pics from Martha's hikes made me really miss summer and now I'm dreaming of taking all of our favorite hikes without having to wear winter clothes! ~Lili

Who would have thought that Martha Stewart would have time to wander the beach and collect all these?

I have a few, but never thought of displaying them. As others have said, I now have a focus for my beach walks. Thanks for posting this.
