Beautiful Sea Collections in Glass Cabinets

If you have large and precious sea collections (from your travels perhaps), organizing them in glass cabinets could be a great choice. Just look at these beautiful examples!

sea collections in glass cabinet
A beachy cabinet with a modern feel from Century Furniture gives this sea collection room to breath. I love the lighting. That way you can enjoy your collections at night too. I would want that!

faux resin coral collection
What do you do if you've never found a large shell or great sculptural coral, and you don't buy shells and sea life in stores (since they are harvested alive for decor purposes)? You create the look with resin sea collections! That's what you are seeing here, a cool resin sea collection arranged in an antique painted corner cabinet. Via House Beautiful.

La Dolfina's Cabinet of Curiosity includes a huge sea fan. Speaking of, check out the enormous discarded sea fan India Hicks carried to the surface from a diving trip.

To make a Coastal Sea Collection stand out, paint the back of the shelf! Via Wisteria blog. Original source no longer available.

Previously featured on Shell Displays at Coquillage Cottage. A fun and lively sea collection in a tall glass cabinet.

shell collection
Part of Linda Rodin's sea shell collection is displayed in a glass cabinet. Take a tour of her New York City Apartment. Linda's collections are spread throughout her living space. For some it might be too much, but to her it's beach in the city!

sea coral collection
I adore this cabinet and the overall color range here. The sea collection display feels very harmonious and calming. Also, I think I prefer this type of cabinet to the taller all glass versions. Original source unknown.

sea shell collection in glass cabinet
Here, a handmade glass cabinet from Time Worn Interiors holds a beautiful sea collection of shells and corals. Old books are in the mix too which creates a sense of history. The shells and corals from this sea collection could be hundreds of years old!

I love this arrangements! How elegant! I was in the garage washing my seashells this morning when my neighbor came by and she asked me where I put them all! I showed her a couple of trays and bowls of shells and when I looked around I noticed they were everywhere! heehee! But I love them and enjoy having them in every room! Hugs! ♥

What a cool post! I have been so busy this week, I haven't had a chance to get caught up on your blog. Might have to "pin" a few more of these ideas.

Have a great weekend Maya!
