Bring the Beach to House and Garden Walls with Seashells

Bring the beach to house and garden walls. Take shells, pebbles, and seaglass and embed the pieces in an outdoor wall.

A low retaining wall has been brightened up with a collection of shells, fossils and stones. The pieces are set into a thin skim of still-damp render (cement and sand). Once dried, a coat of water-based varnish helps protect the mosaic. Via HGTV.

A Beach Shell Wall for a Fountain, seen at Cottage in the Oaks. For this project a thick wall of treated plywood was used as the foundation. Spread a thick layer of cement over it, then let the fun begin! Make sure to push down your shells and beach finds really well.
