It's unbelievable what you can find on Etsy. The creativity is impressive and the low prices are too. Plus, you can use gift tags not only for gift giving, they're also great for decorating. Just check out the handmade Clay Gift Tags at Beach House Living. Wouldn't they make gorgeous Christmas Ornaments?

This is a lovely idea! Charm gift tags from Heather Ann.

Then Sally of Nautical Cottage Blog used the handmade gift tags she purchased from Seashells by the Seashore as napkin rings. You could do that for Thanksgiving, then still use them as gift tags for Christmas. That's just me thinking practical, wanting to always get the most mileage out of everything! And check out the adorable gift tags from Kiwi Tini Creations. Their offerings range from navy sand dollars...

... to super cute Crabs. Made from kraft paper!

How about vintage bathing beauties! Available at Green Acres Cottage.

Love how bold and graphic these gift tags from Island Junkie are.

The handmade wood gift tags Jill Hall sells in her Etsy Store have a piece of chalkboard vinyl on the back so you can write a note, or label just about anything with them. Great! And make sure to check out Isola Bella's Wood Gift Tags too. Gina's not an Etsy store owner, but her creations are absolutely beautiful, with a fresh island vibe.

And Sally found yet another use for more tags, adding them to her Coastal Candle Holders. These handmade word gift tags are created by Kerrie of Sea Cottage and she sells them in her newly opened Etsy store Seawashed.

And Amanda's lovely nautical gift tags are available at Dawn Correspondence. Each tag is adorned with nautical stripes, an anchor, and a fishing net, finished off with a small grommet and baker's twine.
Other things I have seen made with gift tags are garlands, bookmarks, as well as wine bottle charms. So if you don't utilize all the gift tags, since they are sold in multiples up to 12, just use them for decorating.
