Ocean Blue Living Rooms

These ocean blue living rooms are airy and light, but keep you grounded with natural materials, dark colors, and wood.

white and blue living room
The grounding element in this ocean blue living room is a fabulous fireplace and a dark trunk coffee table. I love the height of this trunk too. It's generous and so much more functional than tables that sit low. Via House Beautiful.

Table and dark pillow keep this wonderful room from sailing off into a sea of white and blue.

blue painted walls in living room
Another great trunk coffee table. Or treasure chest!

blue painted living room ceiling
I love how they injected colors here. With pillows, art, flowers and plants. Room by Michael Partenio.

large blue and white striped ottoman
The tones in this room remind me of driftwood. Via Traditional Home.

blue and white striped sofa
Lots of rustic wood. House and Home.

The brown rug creates contrast. Via My Home Ideas.

The wood table and simple sisal rug add just enough earthiness to this Living Room.

Beautiful rooms. I'll take one of those with a view of the ocean thank you very much!!
I have an ottoman coffee table and it might be my favorite piece of furniture in my house.

Slipcovered furniture and the ocean as a back drop can't think of anything better.

Beautiful sea blues and white inspiration...coffee tables you say? Yes, I am wanting a wood one too...nice and chunky and white. We have a wicker one that was pale pink and I painted it white. Wicker is very difficult to paint because I did a zillon coats and I can still see a glow of pale pink!

Love them all. Now if we only had great lighting here. I've had a navy and white bedroom for almost 20 years and I'm still not tired of it!

Blue is the only real colour for the ocean living room in my opinion. Love it!!!!

I agree 100 % i love the pale blue in all of these photos. I have an old Coastal Living magazine issue from 2000 that had a blue and white bedroom and a view of the sea. I will never part with that issue because it was my dream bedroom and now I have one even better than that picture. I really believe that if you hold onto those dreams they will one day materialize.

These are my favorite styles! Like minds. I have a blue and white living room I just created after finding the most perfect blue and white couch for only 100. Its similar to the one in the next to last photo. Mine came with 6 oversize blue and white pillows that make it so fun. I spent all week on the room and just finished. Its a very soothing and refreshing living space. I use my Moms collection of shells from 1930's forward, my own shells from my travels oceanside and my collection of ocean photography. I also collect oil paintings of the ocean so I used those for my art. The couch has two lighthouse oil paintings over each end. All the oil paintings I got at local thrift stores and they are very pretty with lovely frames. I blended it with a vintage queen ann chair in sea blue and for a coffee table,I hate traditional large coffee tables, so I use a round marble top antique table that is classic from the 1930's era. The pale yellow adds just a perfect touch of color to the room. The antique table has a touch of flowers engraved on it for beauty. On the table just a marble statue from Paris and two ocean photographs I took recently. It is now my dream living room. Only problem, I do not want to leave the room! I will gather inspiration from all the photos above! Thanks.

I have a blue living room (an awesome color by Benjamin Moore called Patriotic White...which isn't white at all, but whatever!) and an upholstered coffee table...so I'm feeling quite at home at Completely Coastal today! :-) I love these living rooms...thank you for sharing them!
