Just love them. Via Sunset.

A large driftwood mirror makes a stunning centerpiece above the fireplace. Image is from a back issue of Better Homes and Garden. I know I sound like a broken record, but the beaches here in RI are not exactly driftwood rich. But I'll wait, and in the meantime I have my eyes open for a good tutorial.
A homemade Sunburst Mirror at White as Linen.

Another way to go. Make a driftwood wreath and hang it over a mirror as seen at Kara Paslay Designs.
Lastly, a glimpse of how to construct Sunburst Mirrors with driftwood (no instructions). It looks like the pieces are glued onto some ring and the mirror goes on last. What do you think -could this be a project for you?

Aren't these gorgeous Maya? I am working on a driftwood mirror now but it is taking forever!
Love it.. I'm working on something like that too! Yay! You read my mind (;
Iheart this. I will attempt at it once I have collected enough driftwood. Ah-must go to the beach.
I love them :) Seriously.
Love these Maya, especially grouped as in the first pic but that would mean a TON of driftwood not to be had on the east coast. I'm going to visit my daughter in OR in a few months and will be sure to bring an extra suitcase!!! Perfect for a beach cottage. Let us know when you do yours Maya.
Great idea! I'm definitely doing that one!
I love sunburst mirrors, but I've never seen one made from driftwood before. I really like the look! The driftwood wreath hanging over the mirror is a great look too.
If there were beaches with driftwood around here, I'd be out collecting it to make one of these mirrors :-)
Beautiful ideas!
I love the sunburst with the nautical rope in the middle! Yet another fabulous idea! Oh Maya, you keep me in crafts up to my eyeballs! Luuuuuv it!
I love these mirrors-thanks for sharing!
I just ran across a round frameless mirror and my wheels were turning! Maybe, just maybe! :)
Oh Maya I adore everyone of them. Love to 'how to' too. Always interesting seeing the creative process isn't it. Love, Pruxxx P.S. Thanks for your comment about my Mum. She's doing really well even though I wish I was closer. Px
So funny...last Friday I went to a beach in NJ that I've never been to -- I heard there's good driftwood after a big storm (which we had) since it's on a sort of peninsula. I get there...and there's a guy with ARMS FULL of driftwood! I guess he's hip to the story, too. :-) Hoping to head back there (earlier!!) one day soon before prime season...I think it could be fun to craft a project with the genuine real thing!
p.s. Pillow cover arrived yesterday...it's packed and heading to the shore house this weekend. :-)
I never find a lot of driftwood either. I guess you need to go to a beach closer to the woods :-)
Blessings,
Marcia
Just so unique and gorgeous! Thanks for visiting my blog and your sweet comments!

Love sunbursts -- wood, ceramic, beads, glass!
Kristi's Plan 'A' at http://blog.addicted2decorating.com/2011/03/glimpse-into-my-creative-process.html & again March 10th, where she uses two circles for backing to glue onto, may work well with driftwood.
Love your site.
Neat idea!
I love them too. I just don't have much driftwood to make one either!
I love them!
Very cool - love it, Maya!!
These driftwood mirrors are beautiful, and perfect for any ocean buff's home. I'd love to make one someday, if I ever find enough driftwood. I'm kicking myself for not picking up every piece I saw on the west coast!
Gorgeous! I'm on a break this week, getting ready for Jane's show on Saturday and opening my Etsy store next week, but when I saw this on my blogroll I had to check it out. Now, I need to find more driftwood too!
Beautiful! Now I want to go collect driftwood. We don't have a lot in NC either but you can find it occasionally. I will start looking this weekend! Thanks for sharing! Certainly makes me want to make one.
Please see the driftwood mirror I have made, what do you think of it? http://stratis-art.blogspot.com/2011/02/driftwood-mirror.html
All of those mirrors are SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks for including mine!!
Thanks for featuring my project. I cut out a ring of plywood, painted it grey, and then stuck the driftwood sticks on with wood glue. When finished I glued the mirror to the back and attached screws to hang it on the wall.
I am sooo going to make one of these! Thanks for the project idea and I linked this to my sunburst mirrors post too, lovely!
Whoa! I just found your site. I'm a new follower! Check out my driftwood mirror I made copying Crate & Barrel's version.

I have made a coupe of these using old tobacco stakes cut into different lengths. They look pretty cool but I have to be really careful when I take them off the wall as the pieces are hot glued on and not very sturdy. You can see a picture on my blog http://thebeach-debbi.blogspot.com/2010/11/little-more-of-our-home.html
