Jonathan Adlers hip colorful designs in a century old Inn, located in Maine.
When the owners of The Tides Beach Club in Kennebunkport, Maine, wanted a new fresh look for the Inn, they teamed up with design guru Jonathan Adler to decorate two suites in his signature style, and rooms with a beachy vibe. Let's look at the beachy rooms first.
They are chic, modern and airy.
The colors, the lovely bed, white Wicker chairs and Coral Table Lamps, all remind you of the beach.
Then, one of the suites, in Jonathan Adler's signature style. Would you expect a room like this in a century old Inn in Maine? Hip and modern for sure. Not how I would ever (dare to) decorate. Check out the navy painted beadboard Accent Wall behind the bed. It is my favorite design element in the room. Something to remember! All furniture pieces are by Jonathan Adler Design.
Then, check out the lobby. I love it! It was reworked by local designer Louise Hurlbutt and Miami-based Jim Samson. And they did a fabulous job. The modern worn style interior speaks to the Sea Captain sensibility that's so characteristic of Southern Maine.
