For this beach house makeover colors and textures were used to remind of the shore.
Walls are painted a sandy color and a beautiful sea blue striped cotton rug sets the tone. Slipcovered Furniture, Wicker Chairs and reclaimed tables were chosen for easy living. That's what beach style is all about. "This type of distressed wood already has nicks and discoloration in it...", says designer Erica Burns who renovated and decorated this Delaware beach house for her in-laws’.
The fireplace was completely transformed. The shots of pink added throughout the house add a playful summer feeling to the decor.
