One of the magazines that has always had exceptional cover art illustrations is The New Yorker. If you are not familiar, The New Yorker is a Condé Nast publication filled with articles on politics and social issues, including short stories, literary reviews and cartoons.

This is one of my favorite covers, an illustration by San Francisco-based artist Mark Ulriksen, depicting the Hamptons. It graced the cover of the magazine last July. I look at these covers and want them as wall art! You could buy the magazine or print out covers from the Archives.
