since i was little i have wanted to live on a houseboat.
my uncle who was very cool lived on one in miami beach.
the marina was behind a place called
'tony's fish market' on 79th street in the 1960's.
it was a very hip/chic place.
frank sinatra would frequent the place.

anyway.... i love houseboats.
i would still love to live on one.

I totally love houseboats, and could definitely imagine living in one with Matt one day when we're retired. I don't get sea sick at all; unfortunately he does, so it'll never be our reality. But I can appreciate them and love them just the same!

These are so awesome I have no words! Not sure I could live on one year-round, but I'd certainly love to vacation on one. I went on a house tour in Bay Head, NJ, this summer and one of the homes had a house boat in their "backyard" (the bay) that they used as a guest house. I immediately wanted to become friends with them. :-)

I had no idea there were houseboats that looked like these. I love the water, but I don't think I'd want to float all the time:) The song is one of my favorites. It is one of the first songs I remember listening to on the radio, thanks for the memories.
