Rules schmools...art alone will tell ya what it needs. Not the other way around. And certainly not bound by dictates.

I have my share of "leaner's" too. I like 'em. They stay.

Maya, if you did want to set up a Google Alert, I would simply put "Completely Coastal" in the search box - that will do it. You can do a separate one for "Beach Lovers Place". I'd suggest using the quotes

I love this post! The little picture reminds me of a little painting that I bought a few years ago - the artist had promised it to me, but someone bought it before I got the chance to go to the gallery. Luckily, the person who bought it was someone I knew (our kids were in the same school), so she graciously let me buy the painting.

It is 5x7, and it is such a precious little painting.

I never follow the rules and I like it that way. I've started a wall of empty frames and I just love it. I'll have to send you a picture one day when I finally complete it.
