More often than not, what's on my coffee table is my daughter, despite my best efforts. It's her curtainless stage, and even falling off hasn't deterred her. So much for a look.

i like the simple ones the best...i'm with you about using the table as a foot rest and for dining. i recently moved my table back in front of sofa...i miss the oversized ottoman, but having a place to sit drinks and a candle is nice too.

Those are beautiful decorating ideas! My coffee table is currently holding my youngest son's bike helmet, assorted books, a yo-yo and the notebook I write my crochet patterns in! No style at all!

I wish mine looked as beautiful as the pictures you posted. LOL! CT in living room is full of foot prints and hubbys 2 cigar humidors...not pretty. Coffe table in little room could look better if I keep junk picked up. I'm afraid to post!

My coffee table has a book called Entertaining Southern Style and a candle (I switch out the book). Not very inspired. I'm inspired by your pics. By the way, love your blog header. To Catch A Thief is one of my favorites.

Well, we don't have a coffee table. Hubby says that the living room is too small for one, but if I did have one, I think that I would either have one of those big steamer trunks, or something like that table from Pottery Barn with the tray under it. I would probably put some hurricane candleholders with sand and shells in them on my table. *sigh* Dreaming of a coffee table in my living room. :)
