Bought two adirondack chairs and foot stool to go with them for 10.00 on the side of a road. Someone was just getting rid of them!! Need a paint job and will be posting the pics. They are my favorite outdoor chair.

Shoot, red Adirondack chairs might sway me on a house! Staging is everything! I would love some red ones. Those paintings are spectacular. And I want every one! But I doubt there's any space on my walls left.

I always have loved adirondack chairs as well and often specify them in the landscapes that I design and I'll tell you why. They are in and of themselves, a destination. We see them at the seashore, on the deck or in the yard and we desire to go there, have a sit and enjoy whatever the view. They invite us to take a break. Lovely post!

I have an old, weathered Adirondack that sits in front of my fireplace. It's the most comfortable chair in my house . . . and the cheapest! I bought it for $35 at a used furniture store. I'm so glad I found it.

We have Adirondack chairs up here in Ontario too :-) In fact, there are four of them on our patio :-) Love 'em -- they're really comfy to sit in, and just say "summer" :-)
