So let's hear how to paint plates for decor from Cathy, an interior decorator who blogs for HomeGoods: "I found some large white dishes at HomeGoods for $2.99 each. I cleaned them well. Then I mixed some regular craft paint, a coral color and painted on the dishes. I let them dry, and sprayed a clear gloss paint over all."

Cathy says that she was looking all over, even online, for some plates with coral on them to hang on the dining room wall of her client's home, but what she found was not in the budget. These beautiful wall plates cost her less than $20!

Great idea! :D
Oh ... wow! Cheap and delicious all at once. I'm not certain I would have that much artistic talent, but at that price ... it's worth a try.
Thanks ~
