Sea glass & shell bottles made with green mini wine bottles.

I painted the bottles and scallop shell with gold metallic paint. Same paint I used for my shell candle holders, featured on Decorating with Candles.

I cut slots into wine bottle corks to serve as stands.

Then adhered the shell and seaglass with hot glue. This is the backside of the shell.

After this, I wrapped (and glued) rope around the bottle necks.

Since I only had white rope, I spray painted it black which resulted in a washed out charcoal color, which I like.

My two sea glass and shell bottles are now part of the "pretty bottle" line up on the kitchen counter (seen on Wine Decor and Wine Themed Gift Ideas). I love the chunky seaglass piece, a lucky find from last year!

Great projects to work on with friends and young kids as a way to condense a collection and make it artful.
