Hand Painting an Octopus Shower Curtain

When I saw Alfi Painting an Octopus Shower Curtain on Casa Sugar I immediately thought of the octopus shower curtain from the Thomas Paul Collection, which sells for $120.

The idea of hand painting a shower curtain is really cool, although I doubt I could pull it off. But don't let that disencourage you. Get an organic cotton white shower curtain, black fabric paint and brush on!

I'd probably paint something less intimidating! What do you think?

I love Thomas Paul designs; however I did paint a canvas curtain in an ikat pattern of blues and yellows awhile back.

I think it's TOTALLY, freakin' awesome!!! When I do my next master suite, it will SURELY have an octopus shower curtain painted by yours truly!! And, it won't be a cute, squishy one either...in real life they truely are kinda' creepy (in a good way)!!

Very dramatic I'd try a seahorse or huge shell. I'd also add a touch of glow in the dark paint as well.

I totally love it. And I adore the hand made feel to it. Not over produced, so rustic. It would be the perfect addition to a little beach shack! Pxxxx

I just painted the inside of my floor vents in my motorhome a solid black and I was pretty proud of myself (hee hee). I can't even imagine painting something like this. Fan-flippin-tastic!

xoxo to you Maya!

I'm with you Maya...amazing skill in painting that octopus, but seriously, octopi scare the bajeebers out of me! I'd probably go with a starfish!
