Gallery Worthy Framing Ideas for Shells, Seaglass and Beach Pebbles

I can't get enough of framed sea treasure.

chic framing of shells
I found these stylish framing ideas for shells, seaglass and beach pebbles on Anke's site Beached Art. Gallery worthy, don't you think! Neatly arranged shells in an unusual and unique pattern.

Seaglass artistically put together in a nice range of colors.

And gorgeous little beach pebbles. No glass used as far as I can tell.

Anke lives in Germany and usually frames beach trash. And as odd as it sounds, considering the subject matter, her art is beautiful. You can see for yourself below.

"For me it is very satisfying to combine the daily walk on the beach with a little cleanup and to recycle the plastic litter into art."

Really interesting! I love the framed sea glass and shells. Framing "trash" is an interesting concept. It's definitly a "trash to treasure" form of art.

I like these still life creations! A friend of mine made shadowboxes with dried varieties of colorful kelp and seaweed. They were beautiful, almost like lace or ferns.

Anke's framed beach finds are great! I especially love the first one with the shells - they look kind of like ruffles. The stones are beautiful too, and love the colourful beach glass.

I just love the clam shells in the frame. Usually artwork has them flat. Sideways is a great idea.
