Framed Vintage Fishing Lures

I like framed Collections, they are visually so compelling and bring together what is the same, yet each piece is unique.

Even though fish hooks are not my thing, they make me wince just a little, I wanted to show you Steven Sclaroff's collections of framed Vintage Fishing Lures.

Known for his interiors around NYC, including hotels, retail shops and residential work, as well as product design, Steven Sclaroff also has his own space where he sells an inventory of vintage finds worthy of a museum.

You could also frame each Vintage Fishing Lure by itself then group them together. This fishing lure is silkscreened with a photograph of a woman on the beach.

And if you look for anything vintage, Ebay is always a good place to start your search..., so go ahead and check out all the Vintage Fishing Lures on Ebay.

Browse everything in the category Framed It and the subcategory Vintage.

These are really neat! Would be fun to watch for them...and find enough to frame! ♥

When we first moved into this home, I decorated the boys' bathroom with a fishing theme...net, fly rods, and creels hanging on the walls, and frames filled with hand-tied flies. It was really cool...then we went "coastal".

I have been looking for some for my husband-- the uber-fisherman/pelican whisperer. What a cool gift these would be! I love the idea to frame them separately. Thanks, Maya!

Maya, I wish you could be here at my home to help me choose a paint color...lol! I love the framed lures. It gives me another inspiration to work on. I'll have to post the three paint choices I have have. I'd love your professional input.

Those do look cool as a collection under glass. Loose in the tackle box, they make we wince too! ~Lili

Love these. I have been collecting up all the shadow box frames I can find for seashells. I think I will have to frame my dads old lures in one to go with them. ~~Sherry~~

I'm going to tackle my husband's tackle box. Been sitting in the shed for over thirty years doing nothing!

Sweet! I actually found one of these on the beach and used it in a picture i made for my husband. I didn't know it was vintage, though. Thanks Maya. Be sure to stop by on Monday to help me celebrate 100 Followers.

Maya - You know when I walk the beach in Florida by our condo there - I often find fishing lures. I have always been attracted to them- this would be an adorable way to show that collection - I have about 10-12 so far. Love this idea!
