Today we get to see Lori's Holiday home decorations!

Lori blogs @ Frugal Farmhouse Design and is the owner of the beautiful White Flower Farmhouse store which I featured here. I also posted her fresh from the sea Antique Glass Bottles, and her driftwood sailboats are part of Wood Craft Ideas. So I'm thrilled that she's here on Completely Coastal showing us her Holiday home decorations!

Enjoy the tour!

I am excited and honored to be guest blogger for Maya of Completely Coastal my favorite sea style inspired blog. Completely Coastal is near and dear to my heart for decorating inspiration, resources and ideas.

I live on Eastern Long Island, surrounded by water and beautiful sandy beaches. My home is in a neighborhood called Harbor Lights and is a short walk to the beach. I love the casual life style of living near the water. I incorporate touches of simple and natural coastal style throughout my home year round.

Here some simple and inexpensive ways I have decorated my home this holiday season:

clam shell with vintage ornaments
I filled a large clam shell with vintage ornaments.

driftwood collection in garden urn
I have driftwood waiting for the fire in an old cement garden urn.

Holiday mantel
I placed white candles in simple clear glass vessels for the mantle.

canvas Holiday stocking
This stocking is made from inexpensive canvas drop cloth.

glass vase with blue glass ornaments
Glass ornaments in seaside inspired blues fill a simple glass compote.

blue glass ornaments

white tulips with juniper green
I add fresh greens clipped from juniper trees in my back yard to a few white tulips.

Christmas Holiday home decorations
Thank you so much Maya for letting me guest blog for Completely Coastal.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Hi Maya! I love the simplicity and elegance that putting beachy blue and silver ornaments can bring. Especially for apt. dwellers and frequent travelers like myself. You can even take your christmas cheer with you this way.

I've been a fan of White flower's shop for awhile and Lori's blog about re-doing rooms on a budget is really great.

I'm loving the dropcloth stocking... such a versatile "fabric", very cottage-y AND coastal.

Beautiful! Was just telling Tom that my favorite holiday decorations were white shells, silver and mercury glass.
