I have featured single rooms of Ali Wentworth's home on Giant Clam Shells Everywhere and Have a Bowl, but her chic DC residence that she shares with husband George Stephanopoulos clearly deserves a proper house tour, and it's easy to see why.
Comedian and actress Ali Wentworth owns a serious sea fan collection and lots of rare seashells!
Not only has she been collecting shells since childhood but upon moving to Washington DC she acquired specimens left to Harvard University by her grandmother, who explored the Far East in the 1920s for the National Geographic Society.
She's lining up her collection high on the wall to keep it safe from her kids!
A massive barnacle piece on the coffee table; and the Giant Clam Shell in the fireplace is not the only one in the house.
Here's number two, a Sea Shell Bowl, making a statement as a table center piece.
And in her entry foyer, Ali placed some specimens under Cloches. Nice! Check out the Glass Display Boxes, they look beautiful also.

And just in cases you missed it, check out the sea fan India Hicks fished out of the ocean here: Island Life by India Hicks.
