For this weekend's Stores to Sea I paid a virtual visit to New York City's famous department stores to find out what they have for coastal lovers. Not much I have to say, but it was fun to browse the "Big Names", headquartered in the Big Apple! Such as Saks Fifth Avenue (1st row), Bloomingdales (2nd row), Barney's (3rd row) and of course Macy's (4th + 5th row), the world's largest department store from 1924 until 2009. Do you know to which store Macy's passed the torch this year? What country? Scroll down to find out.

The brand-new Shinsengae Centumcity Department Store in the coastal city of Busan in South Korea is now officially recognized by Guinness World Records™ as the world's largest department store.

Fab picks!
Wow, the big city full of its magnificence! Guess what? I was at an antique mall today and bought an old oar for $18! Not sure what I'm gonna do with it.

I love the big city stores at Christmas. We used to take our kids into Chicago when they were little to see the windows.
