Congrats to Shirley! Lucky girl. :-)

I recognize the houseboat because I wrote a post about it for Movie Monday (haven't published it yet, though)--Sleepless in Seattle! Love the purple chairs.

Shirley sure is lucky! yay! thanks for the shout out dear Maya. I am excited about the houseboats. don't know where that one is from above but I am in love with the idea of being rocked to sleep each night by the sea. B, Norman and Newman should look into that, maybe off of Catalina. All we need is sponsorship or a rich uncle ;)

Those plates are adorable...and so versatile! Shirley will definitely receive many compliments whenever you use them.

That houseboat is lovely. It reminds me of some of the houseboats that used to graced the shores of Lake Lanier, near Atlanta. My uncle and aunt retired to one...loved living on the lakeside. They said living like that...among all the young people, kept them young. (My uncle passed away last year at 95...my aunt is still going strong at 96!)
