Enjoying the Underwater World at Home

Custom Aquarium
This Eco friendly Florida Mansion shows one way how you can bring the magical underwater world to your home. I, of course, was more thinking along the lines of beautiful photographic posters and wall murals. So I spend a couple of hours browsing Art.com and below are my favorite underwater pics. Some are available in large sizes, up to 60 inches wide. For more information and/or purchase, please click on images.

Underwater World

Sea Life

Fish Underwater

Large Ocean Poster

Underwater Sea Turtle

Underwater Jelly Fish

Live Nautilus

To get a sense for scale the murals are shown with a standard size sofa.

I really, REALLY dig the art! Even better is that it's easier to maintain than the actual gigantic tank in the first picture :-)

The nautiluses are so serene. I didn't know "nautili" is also an appropriate plural... I looked it up :-)

Wow, the murals are great!! They would REALLY make you feel like you've brought the ocean right into your home :-)

The fish are so pretty and colourful, and the turtle is cool :-) Reminds me of the turtle in Finding Nemo -- who happens to be part of the Finding Nemo wallpaper on my work computer :-)

I've always loved aquariums - they are sooo peaceful to watch. I just haven't ever wanted the work of cleaning them. :)

In some cultures fish artworks inside the house is lucky and aquariums cannot be placed in just any corner of the house, there is a specific place or a lucky spot where to place it. But for me, having an aquarium anywhere is relaxing, soothing, and aesthetically enhancing.

I make do with a somewhat murky pond plagued by raccoons:).

Love these Maya! I've never seen nautilus animals swimming in the sea before! My husband is an architect and actually has a client who asked him to design a fireplace aquarium. Imagine that! A fireplace that is actually a salt water aquarium!
