Beach Rocks + Pebbles

I love beach rocks and pebbles, even hauled some home for my shelf Floor Lamp, and just recently made this lampshade from a photograph I took. It's easy. You print a photo onto inkjet fabric sheets, then adhere the sheets to a self adhesive lampshade, add ribbon to cover up the seems and decorate as you like.

So my lampshade was the inspiration for the following posters..., and as always please click on images for more information and/or purchase.

Blue hues by Paul Sinclair...

... brown hues by Todd Gipstein...

... then beach rocks with green algae by Mark Chapman...

... a single rock by Norman Gibson...

... and beach rocks artfully stacked, a great panorama shot.

This is inspiring Maya, I honestly thought at first glance these were real rocks on the lampshade.

Maya, the lamp shade turned out nice! Maybe an inspiration will hit me for my bedside table lamps (something simple, since there are two). Love the stacked rocks photo.

I love stones like this. I live in Florida so I never get to see them. I keep day dreaming of beaches like these.

Pretty photos, but the river rock brings back bad memories for me. I turned my ankle on year when I was walking across river rock. :-(

I love river rocks and the beaches in California were loaded with them. I don't find many rocks on my local beaches here, but we have tons of shells!

You did a great job on the lampshade. I always wondered how printing on that fabric would turn out. I'd love to do that with my shell pictures.

I have a collection of pretty beach pebbles from our Jersey shore. I'd like to use them to make a backsplash for my pedestal sink that has NO backsplash. Any ideas how to mount them? Seal them? Etc.?
