My Thrifty Threesome

Found in natural wood with ornamental doors, this $75 TV cabinet got a major makeover and has been around since 2001..., in four different homes.

Then a large Knoll tulip table with a marble top for $10 from a liquidation sale of a storage unit (someone had fallen short on the rent). See the mini version in the background? The room: our still unfinished kitchen!

And thirdly an $8 storage bench. All it needed was a fresh coat of paint... it's main function..., covering up some unsightly cox cables.

Those are all great finds & I just adore your coastal home. Gorgeous!! I saw a bench almost identical to yours this weekend, but of course I have no room for it.

These are wonderful finds!

Have you seen Barbara Jacksier's new book Waterside Cottages? I have a note about it, at the Back Porch. I think you might enjoy this beautiful book. I'm already making plans to "borrow" a few ideas.

A Knoll Marble top for $10??? That wouldn't even cover tax on a new one! You go girl!

Love the table. I could use that in my house. I also have a TV cabinet that I have had for 10 years that I am thinking about painting. I think you have just convinced.

I can not believe you got the tulip for $10! That, Maya, is definitely the best buy anyone has ever gotten. Ever.
