I like the reminder that taking something away can sometimes be more effective than adding. Often de-cluttering needs to be step 1 --especially when you want to create a restful atmosphere!
I would happily sit on those chairs with the pink cushions with that view!
The view is everything, isn't it? Keeping my small den functional without blocking the view is a huge challenge for me.

I live close to the Atlantic Ocean in a pink "cottage" or so I call it. It looks bigger than a cottage but it still has a quaint, wonderful look about it, especially inside.
