I've seen yellow decor pop up here and there (Spring is in the air). And yellow is what I call a Nautical Color. So here are a few very sunny yellow decorated spaces. You might want to put your sun glasses on for the viewing!
Yummy Yellow.

A Beachy Hamptons Dining Room.

Relaxed Seaside Chic.

Tropical yellow.

Soft Yellow.

A small Living Room Space.

And my very pale yellow living room that hardly qualifies as sunny yellow decor. But the room is mostly windows and it's got Southwestern exposure. So it's sun filled half of the day!

what a wonderful post! yellow can be beautiful if used sparingly, as demonstrated in many of these photos! and i adore your living room! i'd love to relax in it with a good book :)
Lovely Livingroom Maya! Also love all the pops of sunshine yellow!!
I love all these photos! I have a good bit of yellow in my house and just painted my dining room yellow as well.
Before I read, I was like..."oooo...I love how restful that last room looks!" And...it's *your* room!! Fabulous.
I have mostly earthy blues/greens/browns, but painted the kitchen a sort-of yellow...I tried to find a color that would help disguise some bad countertops. This color -- Shelbourne Buff (sp?) -- did just that, AND we actually wound up liking the color quite a lot so even if the counter tops go (which boy I sure hope they do!) we'll likely keep the wall color.
I don't know what happened to my comment, but here goes again: You are right, yellow is definitely on many bloggy minds. I just wrote my post for friday and I saw yours in my reader. What a nice and cheery selection you share with us, gracias!
Simply bright and nice … very lively!! Love the way colors complement each other.
