Oh, my!! We drove past the Don CeSar during our trip to Tampa/St. Pete two weeks ago. I wanted to stop and go in and have a cocktail, but we were on our way to an appointment and couldn't take the time.
Next time we go to Florida, a trip to the Don CeSar is definately in order.
Did you know, it was painted GREEN for a while, after WWII? Sacrilege!

I want the pink castle and sand! Bermuda has pink sand too! I went to Bahamas when I was in my 20's,but think I saw pink elephants.
Growing up we always loved the Don Cesar.
I remember spending a New Yrs eve party there.
