Richard Gere's Hampton Home

Richard Gere's renovated farmhouse in the Hamptons (NY) came up for sale...

... almost ocean front for 8.8 Million..., for that price I would want my own private beach though...

... but then, as we all know, movie super stars have multiple homes and he and his wife probably have a beach house somewhere.

This home boasts 10.5 bathrooms, oddly, not one picture! I would have loved to see the half bath...

... but what I do see I like...

... it's casual, simple...

... just what you would expect from a farmhouse.

Lovely and almost unassuming looking. What is that big sandy looking rectangle around his property??

What a house! 10.5 baths? Sounds great, but it brings to mind lots of cleaning. I'm sure he doesn't have to worry about that!

Is that all? You would not believe the prices of summer mc mansions where I live on southeast coast of Mass!! I do love it when they come in early spring and throw out their so called 'trash'!
Thank You for pink info!!

Oh, I didn't see this post! Thanks for telling me about it. There are a couple of photos here I hadn't seen. I really like the farmhouse feel of it, like you said. And I'm cracking up that with 10.5 baths they didn't take a single photo of one. Good point! :-)

P.S. I just added a link from my post to yours so people can come by and see the other photos if they'd like.

I love your blog. My kids live on the Queen Charlotte Islands off the coast of British Columbia, Canada. I miss them so much! Reading your blog and seeing all the gorgeous photos of island and coastal living and the seashore reminds me on them.
Thanks for sharing!
